Why ENGIC

Why ENGIC.

Independent, technical, and project-focused since 2009

ENGIC is a global EPCM+M company operating through Trading, Services and Manufacturing divisions. Our services extend through asset management, maintenance, modification and operations.

Since 2009, we have worked in project environments where technical specifications, standards, supplier coordination, documentation, inspection, delivery, and accountability matter.

Our value is not based on claiming to be the largest EPC contractor, the largest distributor, or the product owner for every item.

Our value is different.

ENGIC provides responsive, technically informed, and project-aligned support for clients that need stronger ownership across project-critical requirements.

We help clients clarify the requirement, align the specification, coordinate the supply route, manage documentation, support inspection, follow delivery, and close out properly.

The ENGIC Difference

We operate from the project side, not just the catalogue side.

Many suppliers can quote a product. Fewer can understand the project risk behind that product.

In real engineering projects, the problem is often not simply “Can you supply this item?”

The real questions are:

  • →Is the specification clear?
  • →Is the material grade correct?
  • →Does the pressure class match the application?
  • →Are the standards aligned?
  • →Is the manufacturer capable?
  • →Are the certificates acceptable?
  • →Is inspection required?
  • →Can the documentation be delivered?
  • →Can the schedule be protected?
  • →Can the package be accepted by the project team?

ENGIC is built around these project realities.

01

Established Since 2009

More than 16 years in demanding project environments

ENGIC was established in Singapore in 2009 and has grown through more than 16 years of work across energy, offshore, marine, infrastructure, utilities, process, industrial, and manufacturing environments.

Over this period, we have supported clients through changing market conditions, complex project requirements, supply-chain disruptions, urgent procurement needs, technical clarifications, inspection requirements, documentation demands, and project delivery pressures.

In engineering, experience is not only measured by time. It is measured by repeated exposure to real project requirements, supplier issues, standards conflicts, documentation gaps, inspection challenges, delivery risks, and client expectations.

ENGIC brings that practical experience into every requirement we support.

02

EPCM-Aligned Operating Model

Built for how real projects are delivered

ENGIC understands how engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance requirements connect.

A procurement package may require engineering clarification.

A product supply package may require inspection documentation.

A manufactured item may require standards alignment.

A brownfield modification may require asset data and maintenance planning.

A delivery issue may affect construction, shutdown, or commissioning.

ENGIC's operating model is built around this overlap.

We support clients with a connected approach across engineering support, procurement, engineered supply, documentation, inspection, logistics, asset management, and MMO.

This makes ENGIC useful to project owners, EPC contractors, EPCM companies, operators, shipyards, fabricators, manufacturers, procurement teams, engineering teams, and maintenance teams.

03

Independent and Flexible

Flexible support without unnecessary supplier bias

ENGIC operates independently across manufacturers, suppliers, mills, subcontractors, inspection agencies, logistics providers, and project stakeholders.

This independence helps us focus on the client's requirement rather than forcing one product route or supplier preference.

We can support clients where:

  • →The approved vendor list is restrictive
  • →The specification requires technical clarification
  • →A special item is needed
  • →A standard product is not readily available
  • →Multiple standards apply
  • →Documentation requirements are strict
  • →Delivery timing is critical
  • →Alternative supply routes need to be evaluated
  • →A project requires custom or manufactured items
04

Multi-Standard Capability

Global standards. Project-specific execution.

Modern projects rarely operate under one standard.

A single project package may involve API valves, ASME flanges, ASTM materials, EN inspection certificates, NACE sour service requirements, NORSOK offshore requirements, IEC electrical requirements, DNV or class-related expectations, and client-specific documentation rules.

ENGIC helps clients manage this complexity.

We support product and service requirements across a wide range of standards, including:

  • →API
  • →ASME / ANSI
  • →ASTM
  • →MSS
  • →AWWA
  • →EN
  • →DIN
  • →BS
  • →ISO

  • →TR CU / EAC
  • →KS
  • →GB
  • →NACE / ISO 15156
  • →NACE MR0103
  • →Client-specific and project-specific standards
05

Documentation and Inspection Discipline

The product is only complete when the records are complete

For project-critical supply, documentation is not paperwork. It is part of the product.

A technically correct item can still create project delays if certificates are missing, inspection records are incomplete, traceability is unclear, or documentation does not match the specification.

ENGIC supports clients with documentation and inspection coordination, including:

  • →Material Test Certificates
  • →EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 certificates
  • →Certificates of Conformity
  • →Manufacturer data books
  • →Inspection and Test Plans
  • →NDE / NDT reports
  • →Hydrotest reports
  • →PMI reports
  • →Coating and lining reports
  • →Dimensional inspection reports
  • →Heat treatment records
  • →Traceability records
  • →Packing and shipping documents
  • →Third-party inspection coordination
  • →Final documentation review

Our procurement team works closely with engineering, supplier, inspection, and delivery requirements to help clients avoid common procurement risks such as unclear specifications, unsuitable suppliers, incomplete documentation, poor delivery visibility, and late-stage technical issues.

08

Supplier and Manufacturer Coordination

Coordinating the supply chain behind the requirement

Project success often depends on coordination between multiple parties.

Manufacturers, mills, suppliers, subcontractors, inspection agencies, logistics providers, project teams, site teams, and end users may all affect the final outcome.

ENGIC helps manage this interface by supporting:

  • →Supplier identification
  • →Manufacturer capability review
  • →Technical clarification
  • →Commercial clarification
  • →Supplier pre-qualification
  • →Proposal follow-up
  • →Documentation follow-up
  • →Inspection readiness
  • →Delivery schedule monitoring
  • →Issue escalation
  • →Closeout support
09

Confidential Project Experience

Mature experience, handled responsibly

ENGIC has supported project environments across energy, offshore, marine, infrastructure, utility, process, industrial, and manufacturing markets since 2009.

Many engineering projects involve confidential scopes, restricted technical information, client approval requirements, commercial sensitivity, and non-public project details.

For that reason, ENGIC does not publicly list every client, project, contract value, or technical package.

Where appropriate, relevant references, scope summaries, and supporting information may be provided directly during qualified commercial, technical, tender, or pre-qualification discussions, subject to confidentiality obligations and client approval.

This approach protects our clients, our partners, and ENGIC's long-term reputation.

  • →ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety Management System
  • →bizSAFE STAR — Workplace Safety and Health capability recognition in Singapore
11

Asset Lifecycle Understanding

Supporting assets beyond initial delivery

ENGIC understands that project success does not end when materials are delivered or construction is completed.

Assets must be operated, inspected, maintained, modified, optimised, and eventually extended or decommissioned.

ENGIC supports clients with:

  • →Asset integrity management
  • →Maintenance strategy
  • →Reliability analysis
  • →RAM, RCM, RBM, and FMECA/FMEA
  • →CMIMS / EAM support
  • →SAP PM support
  • →Spare parts strategy
  • →Material master development
  • →Work management
  • →Lifecycle information management
  • →MMO cost optimisation
  • →Condition-Based Maintenance
12

Direct Accountability

Clear ownership across the requirement

Large project ecosystems can become slow and fragmented. Responsibilities may be split across engineering teams, procurement teams, suppliers, manufacturers, inspection agencies, logistics providers, and site teams.

ENGIC helps clients reduce that fragmentation by providing direct support across the requirement.

We focus on:

  • →Understanding the scope
  • →Clarifying the technical path
  • →Coordinating the supplier route
  • →Managing documentation expectations
  • →Supporting inspection readiness
