Terms of Use

Terms for using engic.ltd and its business portals.

These Terms of Use govern access to engic.ltd, its public content, forms, search, document links, project gallery, and related portal functions operated by ENGIC (PTE.) LTD.

By using the website you agree to these terms. They govern website use only; a quotation, purchase order, framework agreement, NDA, employment agreement, or other signed contract may contain separate terms that prevail for that transaction.

01Website purpose

Business information, enquiries, and controlled engagement.

ENGIC operates through Trading, Services, and Manufacturing. Website material describes capabilities, products, services, certifications, project experience, policies, and routes for contacting ENGIC.

Content is general information. It is not engineering design approval, professional advice, an assurance of availability, a product warranty, an approved-vendor status, investment advice, or a commitment to enter into a transaction.

02No offer or contract

A form submission is an invitation to discuss requirements.

Submitting an RFQ, enquiry, application, registration, report, document request, or uploaded file does not create an offer, acceptance, order, agency, partnership, employment relationship, fiduciary duty, exclusivity, approved-supplier status, or other contract.

A binding commercial commitment exists only when authorised representatives complete the acceptance process stated in the applicable written quotation, order acknowledgement, purchase order, contract, or other signed instrument. Automated acknowledgements confirm receipt only.

03Technical information

Verify requirements against the governing project documents.

Standards, dimensions, material grades, test methods, certification descriptions, product examples, lead times, project references, and other technical material may be summarised and may change. Users must verify the current edition, specification, compatibility, end use, and regulatory requirements before relying on it.

For a transaction, the agreed specification, datasheet, drawing, quotation, approved deviation, order acknowledgement, inspection and test plan, and signed contract govern. Website text does not amend those documents.

04Electronic communications

Records and signatures may be exchanged electronically.

You consent to receiving communications about your request at the contact details supplied. Electronic records, signatures, and contracts may have legal effect under Singapore's Electronic Transactions Act 2010, but nothing on this site makes an automated message a final commercial acceptance unless it expressly says so and is issued by an authorised ENGIC representative.

You are responsible for checking recipient details, attachments, malware, and transmission completeness. Notify ENGIC promptly if an electronic submission contains an error or was sent without authority.

05Submitted material

Submit only what you are authorised to share.

  • →You have authority to provide the information and files
  • →The submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is not deceptive
  • →The material does not unlawfully disclose personal data, trade secrets, export-controlled technology, or third-party confidential information
  • →The material does not infringe intellectual-property or other rights
  • →Files are free from malware and are reasonably necessary for the stated request

You grant ENGIC a limited permission to store, copy, review, route, and disclose submitted material only as reasonably necessary to evaluate or perform the request, comply with law, protect rights, and maintain records. This permission does not transfer ownership of your material.

06Confidentiality

A website form is not a substitute for an NDA.

ENGIC handles submissions in line with the Privacy Policy and applicable confidentiality obligations. Website access alone does not create an NDA or professional duty of confidence beyond duties imposed by law or an existing agreement.

Before sending highly sensitive designs, source code, controlled technical data, personal identifiers, banking credentials, or classified project information, arrange an approved secure channel and any required NDA with ENGIC.

07Intellectual property

Content may be viewed for legitimate business evaluation.

Unless stated otherwise, ENGIC or its licensors own the website design, text, code, photographs, video, graphics, documents, databases, and compilation. ENGIC names and marks, and third-party names and marks shown with permission, remain the property of their respective owners.

You may view and make a reasonable internal reference copy for evaluating ENGIC or a genuine business requirement. You may not republish, sell, scrape at scale, train a model on, remove watermarks from, create a competing database from, or commercially exploit site content without written permission or another lawful basis.

Interface controls intended to discourage image downloading do not grant or remove legal rights. Copyright and licence terms apply regardless of whether a technical control can be bypassed.

08Acceptable use

Do not disrupt, deceive, or gain unauthorised access.

  • →Do not probe, scan, bypass, or interfere with security or access controls
  • →Do not attempt unauthorised access to administrator, storage, database, or portal functions
  • →Do not submit malware, fabricated identities, unlawful content, spam, or abusive volumes of requests
  • →Do not use harvested addresses, dictionary attacks, or the site to send unsolicited bulk commercial messages
  • →Do not misrepresent ENGIC's appointment, approval, certification, agency, partnership, or relationship with a third party
  • →Do not use automated access in a way that degrades service or ignores published crawler controls
09External links

Third-party services have their own terms.

Links to regulators, standards bodies, certification bodies, registries, professional networks, manufacturers, clients, partners, and other websites are provided for convenience or verification. ENGIC does not control their availability, security, content, privacy practices, or continuing accuracy, and a link does not by itself imply endorsement.

10Availability and security

The website may change or be unavailable.

ENGIC may maintain, secure, suspend, restrict, or change the website and its portal functions. While reasonable care is taken, ENGIC does not promise uninterrupted or error-free access, permanent preservation of a draft, or that every file or message will reach its intended recipient.

Users should keep their own authoritative records and use current malware protection. Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly and do not exploit them.

11Liability

Proportionate limits for an informational business website.

To the extent permitted by law, ENGIC is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content, inability to access the site, a third-party website, or unauthorised use contrary to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.

Any limitation or exclusion is subject to Singapore's Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and other mandatory law. Transaction-specific liability is governed by the applicable written contract, not this website notice.

12Governing law

Singapore law and courts.

These website Terms of Use are governed by Singapore law. Subject to any binding dispute-resolution clause in a separate agreement, the Singapore courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these website terms.

A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce them. This does not affect rights that exist independently of that Act.

13Changes and contact

The dated version on this page applies.

ENGIC may amend these terms to reflect changes in law, technology, business operations, or portal functions. Material revisions will be identified by the effective or review date. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.

Send website legal enquiries to contact@engic.ltd. Commercial enquiries should use the relevant RFQ or contact route.

Scope of these terms

These are website terms, not ENGIC's complete sales, purchase, employment, investment, supplier, or project terms. The final signed transaction documents govern those relationships.

The terms were reviewed against Singapore law as at 23 September 2026, including the Electronic Transactions Act 2010, Copyright Act 2021, Trade Marks Act 1998, Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, Spam Control Act 2007, and Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001.
