Good-faith reporting

Raise concerns honestly and responsibly.

ENGIC encourages good-faith reporting.

A good-faith report means the person raising the concern believes the information is true or reasonably concerning, even if later review shows that the concern was mistaken or cannot be confirmed.

Reports should not be made maliciously, falsely, or for improper purposes.

ENGIC does not support knowingly false allegations, deliberate misuse of reporting channels, or reports made to harm others without basis.

Confidentiality

Responsible handling of reports.

ENGIC will handle reports as responsibly and discreetly as practical, considering the nature of the concern, the need to review the matter, legal obligations, confidentiality requirements, and any risk to persons or projects.

Where possible, ENGIC will limit access to report information to persons involved in review, escalation, investigation, legal, compliance, HR, management, or corrective action processes.

Confidentiality cannot always be guaranteed if disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, client obligation, safety requirement, or proper investigation.

Reports and evidence may contain personal data. ENGIC handles that data under its Privacy Policy and may preserve it where needed for an investigation, legal obligation, defence of claims, or protection against retaliation.

Non-retaliation

Protection for good-faith reporting.

ENGIC does not support retaliation against persons who raise concerns in good faith, participate in a review, refuse to engage in unlawful conduct, or report suspected misconduct.

  • →Demotion
  • →Threats
  • →Intimidation
