# Nordic Spring (Hull B382)

> Repeat harsh-environment mid-water semi-submersible drilling rig

Sister project to Nordic Winter, ordered March 2019 at US$425M. Keppel terminated in December 2020 claiming Awilco could not meet a scheduled payment. In November 2023 the arbitration tribunal ruled in Awilco Rig 2's favour, awarding US$43M plus interest and costs; the High Court refused Keppel leave to appeal in May 2024. A global settlement of US$57M concluded both the B379 and B382 disputes in June 2024. ENGIC executed works long sweep elbows during the live construction phase, April–May 2020.
